Web hosting by Framer

Our website is hosted by the external service provider Framer B.V. (Rozengracht 207B, 1016 LZ Amsterdam, Netherlands). The personal data collected on this website is stored on Framer's servers. This primarily includes IP addresses, meta and communication data, as well as website visits.

The use of Framer is for the purpose of fulfilling contracts with our potential and existing customers (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR) and in the interest of providing our online services securely, quickly, and efficiently (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). Insofar as data is transferred to the USA (Framer uses AWS), this is based on standard contractual clauses (SCC) of the EU Commission.

Access data and log files

Each time you visit our website, the system automatically collects data from the computer system of the calling computer. This is technically necessary to display our website to you and to ensure stability and security. The following data is collected, among others:

  • User's IP address

  • Date and time of access

  • Browser type and version

  • User's operating system

The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest). This data is not merged with other data sources.

Cookies & Cookie Banner

Our website uses cookies. These are small text files that your browser stores on your device.

We use the cookie banner from Framer to obtain your consent for certain cookies (e.g., analytics).

  • Technically necessary cookies: These are essential for the operation of the site (e.g., for correct display).

  • Analytics cookies (Google Analytics): These are set only if you have actively consented in the banner (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR).

You can revoke your consent at any time by accessing the cookie settings on our website or by configuring your browser accordingly.

Google Analytics

As far as you have given your consent in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland).

Google Analytics uses cookies that allow an analysis of your use of the website. The information about your use of this website is typically transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

IP Anonymization: We have activated IP anonymization on this website. This means that your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the EU or in the EEA before being transmitted to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.

Withdrawal: You can prevent the collection by Google Analytics by refusing consent in the cookie banner or by installing a browser add-on to deactivate Google Analytics.

Google Fonts

Our website uses so-called web fonts provided by Google (Google Fonts) for the consistent display of fonts. When you call up a page, your browser loads the necessary web fonts into its browser cache to correctly display texts and fonts.

For this purpose, the browser you are using must establish a connection to Google’s servers. This enables Google to learn that our website was accessed via your IP address. The use of Google Fonts is in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our online offerings. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font from your computer will be used.

Online booking via Seekda

For the online booking of our rooms, we redirect you to the booking system of seekda GmbH (Komschweg 2, 1220 Vienna, Austria).

When you make a booking, you leave our website. The collection and processing of the personal data entered there (name, address, payment information, travel data) is carried out directly by Seekda or is transmitted to us by Seekda for contract fulfillment. The legal basis for the processing of this data is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (fulfillment of a contract or pre-contractual measures). For more information on data protection at Seekda, please refer to the privacy policy on Seekda's booking page.

Contact via email / phone

If you contact us by email or phone, the information you provide (name, inquiry, email, phone number) will be stored for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not share this data without your consent. The legal basis is the fulfillment of a contract or pre-contractual measures (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR).

Social Media (Links)

On our website, there are links to the social networks Facebook and Instagram. These are not embedded plugins (such as a "Like" button) that transmit data upon loading the page. They are simply static links. Only when you actively click on the corresponding button/link will you be redirected to the respective provider's page. Only from this point will data (e.g., your IP address and the page from which you came) be transmitted to the respective social media provider.

Your rights

You have the following rights under the GDPR:

  • Information about your data stored with us

  • Correction of incorrect data

  • Deletion of your data

  • Restriction of processing

  • Data portability

  • Revocation of your consent (e.g., for Google Analytics)

  • Objection to processing

If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or that your data protection rights have been otherwise infringed in some way, you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Data Protection Authority.
